HAIRSTYLING PROGRAM
It’s time to unleash your creativity with Modern College’s 12-month Hairstyling Program. You will follow an innovative curriculum that focuses on the latest hairstyling trends and cutting techniques, followed by hands-on training in our on-campus salon. This winning combination gives you the experience insight needed to pursue your career path with style and confidence. You will graduate with the skills and knowledge to work on any kind of hair for any occasion.
Our program includes career-focused instruction in:
- Hair shaping, including cutting with shears, razors and clippers
- Hair colouring techniques such as foiling, lightening and highlighting
- Shampooing and Scalp Treatments
- Hair texturizing using permanent wave solutions and other tools
- Thermal and wet styling
- Braiding, extensions and up-do’s
